Kyle Townes
Hi! Welcome!
My name is Kyle, and I’m the wife of a military veteran and mother to five wonderful girls. After spending years teaching middle school in the public school system, I left the profession to classically educate my children at home.
Now that my children are older and I no longer have toddlers running around or babies to care for, I have picked up my pen to write about one of my greatest passions: Christian parenting. I have been on The Federalist Radio Hour podcast, Issues, Etc., and written for Today’s Christian Living, Modern Reformation, National Right to Life, The Federalist, and Live Action News, among others. Additionally, I have spent the last four years speaking publicly at conferences on topics relating to both Christian faith and education.
I am thrilled to announce that my new book, The Road Less Traveled: Reclaiming Childhood for Christianity, is now available and a bestseller on Amazon! Click Here to Order.
This book encourages a new wave of Christian parenting. For decades, Christians in America have been raising their children exactly as the non-Christians do, except for church on Sunday. As countless children grow up only to abandon their faith, we must ask ourselves some hard questions. Is this secular child-rearing working? What can we do differently as parents?
Children are intelligent, capable, and enthusiastic, and early childhood is the most formative time in a person’s life. Now is the best time to establish a strong foundation in Christian faith and virtue.
I want to inspire every parent to take their God-given role to raise their children in the faith seriously.
